Petit Grain Bigarade

Bitter Orange Leaf or Petitgrain Bigarade (Citrus Aurantium) essential oil is a symbol of authenticity and straightforwardness, it has a warm yet refreshing nature.

 The Ministry of Health recognises to Citrus x aurantium L. as having beneficial effects on digestive function and gastrointestinal motility. It has relaxing properties and promotes mental well-being.

 In aromatherapy it is used as an intestinal regulator and to support celiac disease.

 It is indicated by naturopaths as an ingredient for compounds to be used against oily skin and hair, and also to combat acne and excessive sweating.

 Totally non-toxic, Orange Leaf essential oil, as it is distilled from the unripe fruit, branches and leaves, contains all the “green” notes of the citrus fruit, making it very special and interesting. It is mainly used in confectionery and liquor-making. Try it in its Essentia spray version.

 Among its virtues, aromatherapists emphasise its relaxing action, capable of improving the condition of those suffering from insomnia and nervous exhaustion.

Utilisations suggérées :

• Diffuseur d'ambiance : a few drops in 100 ml of water.
• Bain: a few drops of essential oil emulsified in coarse salt, milk, cream, or honey in hot water (this prevents the oil from evaporating due to the heat)
• Massage: dilute a few drops of essential oil in a tablespoon of carrier oil
• Dietary use: we recommend 1 drop in a herbal tea (we suggest you always start with the lowest recommended dose and increase the drops in the future). This essential oil also goes very well in certain cocktails.
