The essential oil of Lime or Limetta (Citrus aurantiifolia) it is an extremely versatile oil and excellent for those who are starting out, its applications range from cooking to health and beauty.

It is suggested by Aromatherapists as it stimulates the digestive system and the nervous system. Useful for those who have developed food intolerances as a result of enzymatic deficiencies. Powerful diuretic, having antiseptic properties, it can be used in case of cystitis, bladder infections, oral cavity infections, sore throats and colds.
Often used as an ingredient for skin care, acne, calluses, chilblains, insect bites but also warts, poor circulation, cellulite are some of the fields in which it is used.

Suggested uses:
- Diffuser: 2/4 drops in 100ml of water
- Suffumigi: a few drops emulsified in coarse salt in 1 liter of hot water, for about 20 minutes. Keep eyes and mouth closed.
- Bath tub: 8/10 drops emulsified in coarse salt or milk or cream or honey to put in hot water (used to prevent the oil from volatilizing due to the heat)
- Massage: We recommend diluting 1/3 drop of essential oil in a tablespoon of oil/via (or cream).
- rinse: 1 drop of essential oil emulsified in salt in 1 glass of warm water.
- Culinary use: we recommend 1/2 drops of essential oil in 100ml of food to add at the end of cooking, mixed with a seasoning. (We suggest always starting from the lowest recommended dose, possibly increasing the drops in the future.
Warnings: Non-toxic essential oil, like all citrus fruits it is phototoxic and therefore can sensitize the skin if applied without rinsing and then exposed to the sun
