Scots Pine essential oil (Pinus Sylvestris) It is the symbol of conjugal love and in general of the daily struggle against the adversities of life. A tree that according to Shintoist thought welcomes the benign spirits of nature among its branches. In China, the seeds, resin and needles nourish the immortals, allowing them to fly.

In aromatherapy it fights urinary tract infections as well as respiratory infections, calming coughing fits in particular, it is used to stimulate male sexuality, it is thought that by strengthening the immune system it is helpful during convalescence.
It is added to aromatic baths, appropriately diluted in milk, cream, honey or salt, to relieve rheumatism, arthritis and gout.
Often used in the making of flavoured grappas and sweets.
It invigorates and tones the mood in times of stress, tiredness and apathy, aromatherapists recommend it in cases of depression and to increase sexual appetite.
Suggested uses;
- Room diffuser: 3/6 drops in 100 ml of water. We suggest accompanying it with other essential oils.
- Bath tub: 5/10 drops of essential oil emulsified in coarse salt or milk or cream or honey to be put in hot water (this helps prevent the oil from volatilizing due to the heat)
- Massage: some essential oil in a spoonful of oil through or neutral cream
