Description
Salvia Officinale essential oil (Sage officinalis) symbol of good health, considered a sort of universal remedy, it was held in great esteem by the Celts and the Romans who associated its virtues with a transcendental plane.
United to the Lavender, to the Rosemary and to the Thyme formed the so-called four thieves' vinegar, used as a panacea for all ills.
It is recognized by the Ministry of Health as an antioxidant, a tonic for the body against physical and mental fatigue. It regulates sweating and combats menopause disorders. Beneficial for the health of the nose and throat. It has a digestive and carminative function.
From an aromatherapeutic point of view, it stimulates the intestines and the gall bladder, lowers blood sugar levels, cures stomatitis and helps heal sores and wounds. It helps with female pathologies.
Used as an ingredient in oral care products such as toothpastes and mouthwashes, and in deodorants as it limits sweating.

Suggested Uses:
- Room diffuser: 2/3 drops in 100 ml of water.
- Bath tub: 4/6 drops of essential oil emulsified in coarse salt or milk or cream or honey to be put in hot water (this serves to prevent the oil from volatilizing due to the heat).
- Massage: 0.5% of essential oil diluted in a tablespoon of oil through.
- Food use: to your liking but with great moderation, the flavour is very powerful.
Warnings: Use with great caution. Do not use in case of epilepsy, chronic diseases, pregnancy, breastfeeding, renal insufficiency, together with alcohol.
