Description
Nutmeg essential oil (Myristica Fragrans) It is the symbol for Iranian Sufis of the man in search of God, wrapped in his pilgrim's cloak, has always had a place of honor in the kitchen. At one time, it was prescribed as an aphrodisiac.
According to the Ministry of Health, it has antioxidant properties and supports the health of the mucous membranes. It promotes digestion and regulates gastrointestinal motility; it has carminative activity.
In aromatherapy it is useful to support the immune system in case of bacterial infections, to combat vomiting and nausea.
Often used in massage, it is thought to soothe arthritis, muscle pain, gout, rheumatism and promote circulation.
A very popular spice in cooking, easy to dose, the essential oil contains more fragrant details than the fresh one and is more delicate, try it in the version Essentia Spray
It is used to support and improve situations of frigidity, impotence and nervous fatigue.
Suggested Uses:
- Room diffuser: choose between 1 and 2 drops in 100 ml of water. We suggest accompanying it with other essential oils
- Bath tub: 5/7 drops of essential oil emulsified in coarse salt or milk or cream or honey to be put in hot water (this helps prevent the oil from volatilizing due to the heat)
- Massage: We recommend diluting 1/2 drop of essential oil in a tablespoon of oil through
- Culinary use: We recommend 1 drop for every 3/400 ml of food to be flavoured, to be added at the end of cooking (we suggest always starting with the lowest recommended dose and, if necessary, increasing the drops in the future).
This essential oil also goes very well in some cocktails.
Warnings: Always use in moderation. Do not use in case of chronic diseases, during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.
