Description
Bitter Orange Leaf Essential Oil or Petitgrain Bigarade (Citrus Aurantium) It is a symbol of authenticity and frankness, it has a warm and at the same time refreshing nature.
The Ministry of Health recognizes Citrus x aurantium L. as having beneficial effects on digestive function and gastrointestinal motility. It has relaxing properties and promotes mental well-being.
In aromatherapy it is used as an intestinal regulator and as a support for celiac disease.
It is indicated by naturopaths as an ingredient in compounds to be used against oily skin and hair, to combat acne and excessive sweating.
Totally non-toxic, the essential oil of Orange Leaves, as it is distilled from unripe fruits, branches and leaves, contains all the "green" notes of the citrus fruit, making it very particular and interesting, it is used above all in pastry making and in liqueurs.

Among its virtues, aromatherapists highlight its relaxing action, capable of improving the conditions of those suffering from insomnia and nervous exhaustion.
Suggested Uses:
- Room diffuser: some drop in 100 ml of water.
- Bath tub: a few drops of essential oil emulsified in coarse salt or milk or cream or honey to be put in hot water (this helps prevent the oil from volatilizing due to the heat)
- Massage: dilute a few drops of essential oil in a spoonful of oil through
- Food use: We recommend 1 drop in a herbal tea (we suggest always starting with the lowest recommended dose and, if necessary, increasing the drops in the future).
This essential oil also goes very well in some cocktails.
Warnings: Use in moderation. Do not use in case of chronic diseases, during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.
