Description
Geranium essential oil (Pelargonium Gravelolens) It is linked to love, to the expectation of a sweet response, but also, by contrast, to madness. Between the two extremes, each shade of color of the flower corresponds to a different meaning. The plant is native to southern Africa, it was imported to Italy by a Venetian nobleman.

In aromatherapy, on the physical level, it is known as an analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antispasmodic and healing agent.
It is suggested by aromatherapists as useful against mouth ulcers, gingivitis, acne, eczema, hemorrhoids. In massages it is used in cases of cellulite and water retention.
It helps to get rid of dermatitis and eczema, and since it is also an antibacterial it is effective against acne. It is used to relax the skin and to help fight wrinkles.
Suggested Uses:
- Room diffuser: a few drops in 100 ml. of water
- Bath tub: a few drops of essential oil emulsified in coarse salt or milk or cream or honey to be put in hot water (this helps prevent the oil from volatilising due to the heat)
